Logo Have Sex?
We know sex sells. There will always be advertisers, be they branded, unbranded or new start-ups, using sex and sex-appeal to coax more attention out of a noisy advertising landscape. But, do you think they will be so bold as to apply such “sex techniques” to their corporate logo?
“NO!” You would have said.
No, they most likely will not do it knowingly. But, accidents do happen. Take a look at these logos. After which, stop for a minute to think if the companies intended you to have the reaction you are having.
Kudawara Phamacy - Hmmm. what do you think the doctors, or the nurses, are treating you for?
Buty Salon - Exactly where do you think you will be getting your tender loving care - at the top or the bottom?
Deutschen Volleyball-Verband - The players look like they are indeed havng a ball of time … but which court are they playing at?
The Product Development Company - Though not as blatant as the others, yet, you can see it, can’t you?
Well, some good soul must have alerted these other companies as their websites were either revamped, under construction or totally gone.
Arlington Pediatric Center - A clinic for children, with a logo that will truly inspire… terror? Fortunately, the offensive logo has been “blown” away and the new site spots a squeaky clean look today.
Institute for Eastern Studies - This is so blatantly graphic that it makes one wonder, exactly what art form this fine institute was teaching. For some reason, someone tore the house down and is building a new one right now.
This final one is not exactly a logo, but it’s really a linguistic wonder when used in a URL. Anyway, whoever got it originally has written off the URL. So, it’s up for grabs.
I’m sure you find some of the above “sex” logo hilarious. There was even a Phallic Logo Awards created by b3ta for such “sex” logos. Be sure to share with me, and everyone else, if you come across more of such logos.
Tell me, would you be more careful when you next develop or revamp your logo? Wouldn’t you be more selective of who you hire to create your logo?

Nope, I haven’t been paid by Bloggerwave, but I’ve heard from a few others that have. I took their posts down, so I’m not expecting it anymore, although it would be nice to get paid for the two posts that were up for over a month!

Pretty interesting logos, but I’m sure most were done unintentionally and blown out of proportion by the normal ‘dirty’ human mind. LOL.
