Completing 2009 and Creating 2010

How do you intend to create your next 365 days in 2010?

Today is the last day of 2009 and tomorrow is a brand new year waiting for you and I. Here’re some questions from my friend, John Stamoulos to complete 2009 and create 2010. You may find some of the questions really tough to answer, however, it will help you to have clarity in your life.

Clarity is Power.

Versa Creations and I wish you a happy new year.

Interesting questions, aren’t they?

When I did the questions on the first year, I was dumbfounded as I couldn’t answer most of the questions.

When my vision of myself and the future got clearer, I answered the questions speedily in the second year.

This year, it took a much shorter time. When I know my bottom lines in life, I understood my resources and  limitations much better. Such clarity enabled me to focus easier. What you see is usually what you’ll get eventually. Find your bottom lines, find your life. Otherwise seek leverage, support and help.

  1. Hi Vivienne,

I’m so glad I started blogging with this blog of yours in the beginning of 2009 and ending it too with this comment. I owe a lot to you for initiating me into blogging, taking so much time (woefully lots..I presume) to teach me the nuances and egging me on. There you’re now, more of worried that this incorrigible couldn’t make it to your expectations :)!

I feel, it’s too overwhelming to answer several of the questions posed in this post. But, I do like to share with you the biggest fear of not making it through freelance has been shattered. Not that I made huge success, but I can say I made much progress. I’m now a confident person.

My biggest fear of how to tackle my son’s lack of progress in studies … has given way to understanding him as he is. God’s grace… he has amazingly turned out to be a bright boy.

My wife and myself spent eons of time and energy to buy a home, which didn’t materialise desspite of our best efforts. Now, she got a new job in a distant place. On hindsight, I understand it’s God’s plan to postpone our decision.

As I look at myself now to when I had started taking baby steps into the internet.. I felt proud I became a more learned person, and also a very intrepid and well-connected person.

I look back at life and can say… our fears that deter us and overwhelm us will inevitably wane off making us more dynamic. I felt that what is difficult at this moment shouldn’t make us disappointed.. but silently work our way up and finally, what we’ve been dreaming would come to our door.

I don’t have many goals in 2010, but I don’t want to miss any given opportunity to try new things. I wish to make more money and want to drastically increase my income and knowledge through steady focus and determination.

I want to thank you, and everyone who helped me to be what I’m today, and wish this year 2010 would sure bring us closer to our dreams and still make us enjoy the journey each day!

Wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2010!
    Solomon

  2. As the new year blossoms, may the journey of your life be fragrant with new opportunities, your days be bright with new hopes and your heart be happy with love! Happy New Year!

  3. That was an interesting exercise, thanks. After reading through, it kind of emphasized how bad my 2009 was, which has given me great motivation to have a better 2010. We’re almost a couple weeks in now as I’m writing this, and so far I’m getting a lot done and things are going well. All the best to everyone!! Cheers.
